Anneshia Miller Grant
Anneshia Miller Grant serves as the Senior Associate Attorney of the Virginia office and is experienced in family law handling custody, visitation, support and high asset divorce cases. Anneshia began practicing in Hampton Roads, home to one of the world’s largest population with close to 85,000 active duty military personal and their families. Given the transient nature of the military community, Anneshia handled many relocation cases with great success. She also served as a court appointed counsel and guardian ad litem for children in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk Juvenile Courts. Professionally, Anneshia values providing zealous advocacy for clients who serve active duty or as military spouses and for children. As a daughter of an active duty service member and a former military spouse for over 13 years with 3 sons, all have contributed to her passion to service the members, spouses and children of that particular community.
Anneshia’ s background as both a court appointed and retained attorney have provided a wide variety of experiences. Having dealt with families that cannot afford a lawyer and having been appointed as a counsel to families of very affluent backgrounds provides very different experiences. Practicing in extremely diverse areas of Virginia both Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia, she has represented clients with various ethnic and religious backgrounds. That versatility and wide frame of reference is important because it gives her insight into how a family’s values or culture may affect their goals which in turn, requires her to tailor her representation to meet those needs. Every family is different and an attorney with a wide range of experience ensures that there is no cookie cutter solution applied to every family. Anneshia will make certain that your goals are met and that she achieves the best solution for your case.
Anneshia participates in Continuing Legal Education seminars annually, all focused on family law, including developments in legislation and best practices for litigation and mediation/alternate dispute resolution. She also stays up to date with new laws especially as it pertains to service members and their families. She is a graduate of Fayetteville State University and the Regent University School of Law.
