Linette Golden serves as Managing Attorney of the Maryland office and is an experienced family law attorney and litigator. She has been practicing family law in Maryland and Washington D.C. for over 10 years, and believes in empowering clients to make the best decisions for themselves. Linette is open-minded and sensitive when her clients share their personal experiences, and she focuses on providing creative solutions tailored to what clients want to achieve in their cases. She believes that family law is meaningful and personal, and she enjoys being a guide through difficult transitional periods in her clients’ lives. Linette is trained as a custody mediator and has extensive experience in litigation and negotiation settlements in all types of family law cases: divorce, custody, child support, property division, alimony and domestic violence.
Prior to joining DiPietro Family Law Group, Linette worked in real estate collections, estates/guardianships and represented clients employed by unions, law enforcement and the Federal government. Through past experiences, she has developed compassion when representing her clients, and is patient and a good listener—with tough yet diplomatic negotiation skills. Linette provides clarity on expectations and possible outcomes, thorough preparation and honest discussion.
Linette participates in Continuing Legal Education seminars annually, all focused on family law, including developments in legislation and best practices for litigation and mediation/alternate dispute resolution. She has also completed the 40-hour civil mediation training and has conducted custody mediations in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Linette is a Past-President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Maryland (APABA-MD) from 2007-2009, and later served as a continuing board member from 2010-2015. She has also served as speaker at new attorneys’ bar admissions ceremonies in 2008 and 2010. She was selected as a Fellow with the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy and completed her year of service from 2007-2008.
